The origin of Rootline
We spent years running infrastructure at high-growth companies. We know what it feels like to get paged at 2am, open five tabs, and spend the next two hours correlating alerts, logs, and deployment timelines — manually — while customers are screaming.
The tools we had were powerful in isolation. But connecting the dots between a Datadog alert, a Kubernetes pod restart, a GitHub deploy, and a config change three layers deep? That was still a human problem. A slow, exhausting, error-prone human problem.
We built Rootline to change that. To give every engineer — not just the most senior person on your team — the ability to trace an incident back to its root cause in minutes, not hours.
Our belief is simple: the signals are already in your systems. They just need to be connected.
